Frank Y. Kim, M.D.
"I believe that medicine should be delivered in a way that is personal where there is mutual respect between the patient and physician. Clearly, the new advances in medicine should be implemented once proven its effectiveness. However the new technologies should not replace the personal and trusting relationship between patient and physician.
"I am passionate about urology for many reasons. One of the more important reasons is that, at many times, I have many options in treating a certain urologic condition. Depending on the patient wishes and the life stage that he or she may be in, I am able to help my patients choose the right treatment, whether that is medical treatment or surgery, and if it is surgery, what type of surgery would be most appropriate for that particular patient."
